The College of Law – University of Baghdad participated in the central graduation ceremony of the 68th class, titled “The Excellence and Creativity Class,” for the graduates of the University of Baghdad. The ceremony was held under the patronage and in the presence of the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, with the participation of the university presidency, several deans, faculty members, and graduating students.

In his speech during the celebration, the Minister of Higher Education highlighted the ministry’s and universities’ success in internationalizing education and enhancing their competitiveness in global rankings and academic databases. He noted that three years of continuous effort have yielded significant academic achievements, most notably the launch of the education internationalization portal, the increase in scientific research indicators, and the attraction of international students through the Study in Iraq program.

The ceremony featured a parade of graduating students and faculty members, speeches by the President of the University of Baghdad, Prof. Dr. Baha Ibrahim Insaf, and by several top-ranking students, in addition to the degree conferral segment and the academic oath ceremony.

Students from the College of Law – University of Baghdad took part in the graduates’ parade, expressing their pride and honor in belonging to the prestigious University of Baghdad and their participation in this event, which symbolizes the university’s ongoing academic contribution and reaffirms its leading role in Iraqi higher education.

At the conclusion of the ceremony, the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research honored the top students from both morning and evening studies, emphasizing that supporting graduates remains a cornerstone priority for the ministry and its educational institutions.
